Here are a few pictures of us providing fire standby cover in Bathgate near Glasgow
On Tuesday 2nd March 2010 we provided fire standby cover to Bathgate Golf Club, Bathgate near Glasgow on behalf of Network Rail who were carrying out construction of a new rail line.
The work involved removing access to the golf club over night.
The weather was very poor with snow still on the ground and very low overnight temperatures
Due to the severe low temperatures we had to have a rota every 2 hours throughout the night to run the pump for 30 mins at a time to stop it freezing and damaging the pump.
We were very fortunate that the golf club very kindly allowed us to remain in the golf club throughout the night and also provided us with food and refreshments which were greatly appreciated by all.

Our regular pump was not available so we used our old pump which was kindly loaned by our friends at West Yorkshire Classics
